Material Handcrafted brass metal tribal dokra necklace. This dokra necklace is crafted through the ancient lost wax casting technique by skilled artisans, ensuring each piece is unique and authentic. The Dokra system of metal casting is said to be the oldest form of metal casting and is technically known as the ‘cire perdue’ or lost wax process. The technique of casting revolves around the replacement of wax with molten metal by the traditional hollow casting method.
Care Wipe with a soft cotton cloth when needed or wash the product with Pitambari or brasso powder, readily available in the nearest general store. One can also use lemon water, tamarind or vinegar.
